My PhD is part of the DAAD funded project the Sage project, which aims to empower societies to find science-based solutions to adaptive and sustainable management of natural resources in the Middle East.
My research interests are in plant ecology, particularly the using of long-lived seed banks to the restoration of degraded rangelands in Jordan, this will help to deliver practical recommendations for using seed banks for rangeland restoration.
I am currently working on initiating detailed seed bank studies, to evaluate the reseeding potential and to evaluate resistance and resilience of seed banks to grazing and drought.
