New Publication in PNAS

A new publication by the FIRSTSTEPS team and collaborators presents the oldest known handheld wooden tools. The tools originate from the extraordinary archaeological site Marathousa 1 (Megalopolis, Greece) and are dated to ca. 430 ka.
