Research interests

I am a plant ecologist with an interest in ecological and evolutionary processes underlying biological invasions. During my PhD, I combined genomics and functional trait analysis to understand the adaptive potential of introduced populations, evolution of invasiveness and early stages of allopatric speciation. Currently, I investigate how climate and the biotic environment (enemy pressure), relate to population performance and impact in native and invasive knotweeds.
