Competitive Sports at University of Tübingen

Competitive sports are another central component of university sports. We not only host German University Championships (www.adh.de , which take place on a national basis, but also enable athletes to participate in a wide range of university competitions. We are also increasingly focusing on international competitions such as the European University Championships (EUC), European Universities Games (EUG) or the World Student Championships (WUC), thus promoting the internationalization of competitive sports at the university.

Athletes from Tübingen once again had some great successes in the fall of 2023.

Jasmin O'Brien won in two categories at the Karate DHM on 28.10.2023 in Jena. Nik Novik and Madeleine Mostert each took home a bronze medal. Read the follow-up report

At the DHM tennis championships in Bayreuth in September, Maike Nägele and Anna Bögner narrowly missed out on reaching the final in the singles and shared third place. In the mixed competition, Anna Bögner and Dario Drebenstedt (not University of Tübingen) also won the bronze medal. Read the follow-up report
