The Hector Core Courses are specially designed for particularly gifted and highly gifted children at the Hector Children’s Academies. They are based on current findings from subject didactics, psychology, and research on teaching quality. Their effectiveness has been scientifically proven. They represent a central element of quality assurance for the Hector Children’s Academies. For instructors wishing to offer a Hector Core Course, participation in the corresponding qualification event is mandatory. 

This qualification supports instructors without pedagogical training in planning and conducting their Hector course based on current research on teaching quality. Central aspects of successful teaching—such as avoiding disruptions, conveying knowledge appropriately to the audience, and designing activating materials—are addressed using practical questions. Participation is recommended if a course will be offered soon at a Hector Children’s Academy.
