Andreas Schmidt studied Mathematics, Political and Educational Science in Tübingen and Adelaide (Australia). He then worked as teacher for the German Football Association as well as in several projects at the Methods Center at the University of Tübingen. For his dissertation project he was awarded a scholarship from the Foundation of the German Economy (sdw) which is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The project is supervised by Prof. Dr. Colin Cramer and the main research interest is the empirical exploration and validation of the meta-reflexivity concept of teacher education.
