Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) (Madagascar)
GIZ has been working in Madagascar on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) since 1982. As a service provider, GIZ supports the German government in achieving its goals in international cooperation and works on projects for sustainable development. In Madagascar, projects include the establishment of new nature reserves and development of value chains in southeastern Madagascar, as well as strengthening local and regional economic development. Currently, 27 Malagasy and 10 German experts are working there.
