In the framework of the programme Strukturmodelle in der Studieneingangsphase (structural models in the starting phase of studying) the University of Tübingen successfully placed the proposal Gemeinsam zum Studienerfolg: Initiationswege in die Wissenschaft (Together to a successful study: Ways of initiation into science). The department of mathematics paticipates with a subproject for the rearrangement of the exercise classes in mathematical lectures for students of natural sciences and the development of a special instruction for teaching assistants in mathematics. The project gets essential support by Lisa Hilken and Julien Sessler who are funded by the programme and operate for example the instructions for teaching assistants.
