IFIB junior researcher wins PhD award
Congratulations to Daniel Stehle
We are happy and proud that one of our IFIB junior scientists, Daniel Stehle (Feil Lab), has received this year's PhD award from the University of Tübingen. His PhD thesis is entitled “cGMP Imaging Uncovers New Roles and Therapeutic Implications of NO/cGMP Signaling in the Kidney and in Melanoma”. The prize was awarded by Rector Professor Dr. Karla Pollmann and Dean Professor Dr. Thilo Stehle on July 15, 2023 during the central doctoral graduation ceremony.
After Sören Kirchgäßner (Schwarzer Lab), who won the prize last year, this is now the second PhD award in a row that goes to IFIB doctoral researchers. We congratulate Sören and Daniel for their excellent work!
Daniel will now continue his academic career as postdoc at the University of San Diego (UCSD) in La Jolla, USA.
