Press Release: Coupling patterns in the brain depend on the rhythm of the nerve cells

Our brain consists of a very large quantity of nerve cells that are interconnected in a complicated way. Despite this complex structure, neuroscientists can assign certain functions, such as the processing of visual stimuli or the control of movements, to specific brain areas (Press release in German only).
