Press Release: Special physiotherapy significantly improves symptoms in degenerative cerebellar diseases
Patients with degenerative cerebellar diseases can significantly improve their motor performance in terms of balance control and whole-body coordination with relevance to everyday life through intensive coordinative training in physiotherapy; this was demonstrated for the first time in an interdisciplinary clinical study by motor scientists, neurologists and physiotherapists from the Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research (HIH), the Center for Integrative Neuroscience (CIN) and the University Hospital of Tübingen (Press release in German only).
