TUB is committed to better present information about plant and fungal diversity resulting from its collections to scientists and the public. At present we are digitizing our type specimens and are building an digital herbarium catalogue that is integrated in the database JACQ.

Searches can be initiated from the link above by selecting 'TUB - Herbarium Tubingense' from the 'Search all' drop menu. More than 10 000 TUB specimens have already been digitized by the African Plant Initiative (API) in cooperation with the curatorial staff at the Botanische Staatssammlung München and by our ongoing collection digitization.
