Han Qijin has received the Early Career Scholar Award
We are pleased to announce that on 24 July 2026 Han Qijin has received the Early Career Scholar Award (ECSA; formerly the Young Scholar Award) during the 2026 biennial conference of the European Association for Chinese Studies (EACS), hosted by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. The award is supported by the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange. Her award-winning contribution, titled “‘Acknowledge God and Understand Heaven’: Shenxin si yao 身心四要 (Four Essentials of Body and Mind, 1649) as a Special Case of Chinese Reproduction of Jesuit Natural Philosophy”, will be published in the Journal of the European Association for Chinese Studies (JEACS).
