Wer?

Ronen Palan ist Professor für Internationale Politische Ökonomie an der Universität Birmingham. Er promovierte an der London School of Economics and Political Science und lehrte in Newcastle und Sussex sowie, als Gastprofessor, an der York University in Toronto sowie der Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Er war einer der Gründer der Review of International Political Economy, die als führende Zeitschrift in ihrem Feld gilt. Zu seinen Publikationen zählen The Offshore World: Sovereign Markets, Virtual Places, and Nomad Millionaires (Ithaca, N.Y.: Cornell University Press, 2003); The Imagined Economies of Globalisation (London: Sage, 2004, with Angus Cameron) und Globalizing Economic Regimes and Institutions: Central Currents in Globalization (London: Sage, 2007, hgg. Mit Paul James).
