Fees/costs

Students will not pay any tuition fees at the University of Tübingen at the moment; they will pay the administrative fees only. But the federal state of Baden-Wurttemberg decided to introduce tuition fees for students from outside the European Union for the winter term 2017/2018. The exact amount is not determined yet, but will probably be around 1.500 Euro per semester.
Students pay only 2/3 of the regular tuition fees at Nottingham. Please check the current Nottingham Tuition Fee website for current information. You can then calculate the amount; it is payable in three instalments, the first one of which has to be paid in the week of your arrival in Nottingham. You will receive detailed information upon arrival.

If you apply for Auslandsbafög -- see details here. A quite big amount of the tuition fees are taken care of. Auslandsbafög pays as much as 4,600€ in tuition fees.
