The Education Week 2023 is free of charge for students from partner universities of the UNI-T Project and University Tübingen. Travel costs and accommodation for international students will be covered by the project. APPLY NOW until May 15!

What is the European Education Week?
The European Education Week is a summer school for teacher candidate students, taking place in Tübingen. This summer school is offered within the project "UNI-T", which is an internationalization project of Tübingen School of Education and its partner institutions.
The program invites about 50 teacher candidate students from different countries to study together in Tübingen and discuss and reflect on educational questions across borders.
Within this program, not only international students, but also students from Tübingen can participate and connect with international students from around the world. The 1-week course program is part of the regular modules of the teacher education curriculum at the University of Tübingen (GymPO, B.Ed., M.Ed.).
Who can participate?
Any student
- who is currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program (or equivalent).
- studying at the University Tübingen or at a UNI-T partner institution.
- studying to be a teacher or pursuing a career in teaching (the focus is especially on students aiming at teaching degrees for grades 5-12).
- who relates to one of the specific classes offered: Education in Theory and Practice, Fundamentals of Ethical Argumentation for teacher candidates or Affectivity in Teaching and Learning.
- who demonstrates serious interest in international issues within the field of education and are excited about interacting with other international teaching students.
- who has proficient knowledge of the English language.
What does the program look like?
The program of the European Education Week 2023 consists of:
- Academic Program: 3 different courses offered on teaching theory and teaching methodology, education science and philosophy of education, sustainable development and global awareness topics, on the basis of inderdisciplinary work and international discussions
- Course A: Ethical Arguments in the Debate on Sustainable Development
- Course B: Education, Mind and Mindfulness
- Course C: Affectivity in Teaching and Learning
- Two Expert Talks
- The Connection of Theory and Practice
- Cultural Program around Tübingen, field trips and international dinner

Teaching in INSPE. ADEF Laboratory of education, Aix Marseille University | Any student aiming at a teaching degree. |

Students from Tübingen can register online via Alma (if you are still interested in participating after the registration deadline, please contact the lecturers as soon as possible for possible remaining places):
