100km Relay Race cancelled!

The 100-kilometer relay race for the University of Tübingen Cup had to be canceled yesterday. The decision was made after a thorough assessment of the weather forecasts and in consultation with Tübingen’s sports medicine experts, Prof. Dr. Andreas Nieß and Prof. Dr. Christian Burgstahler. Due to the predicted heat stress and the associated health risks, the experts strongly recommend canceling the event.

The University Sports Department is aware that many of the registered teams have been preparing for and looking forward to this day for a long time. Therefore, this decision was not an easy one for us to make. Nevertheless, we are convinced that it is necessary and correct in the interest of all involved.

We have already set Saturday, September 26, as the alternate date.

Please note: Parking at the Sports Institute is subject to a fee

In accordance with a decision by the state government, the University of Tübingen's parking spaces are managed by the state-owned parking company Baden-Württemberg (PBW) as of October 1, 2025. Use of the parking spaces are therefore subject to a charge. This also applies to the parking spaces at the sports facilities (Alberstraße 27 / Wilhelmstraße 124).
