With the Industry Liaison Office, an effective infrastructure is available to realize consortial project ideas in a targeted manner. Launched in 2013 with funding from the Excellence Initiative, it promotes the use of existing structures, such as core facilities and research platforms, as well as industry-on-campus projects. As a point of contact for science and companies, the Industry Liaison Office Team ensures a targeted exchange of information between interested parties. As a contact point for cooperation requests, the Industry Liaison Office identifies and arranges partners and shows ways in which science and industry can interact in different ways.
Integration into the Tübingen Research Campus also intensifies the networking of scientific activities and the service facilities with the non-university research institutions in Tübingen.
