Prof. Dr. Ulrich Trautwein receives renewal of his honorary status as LIfBi Research Affiliate
The award recognizes Trautwein's outstanding research and his commitment as a colleague.
Prof. Dr. Ulrich Trautwein, Director of the Hector Research Institute of Education Sciences and Psychology, has received a renewal of his honorary status as LIfBi Research Affiliate at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) for another five years.
Since July 2019, the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories has been awarding the honorary status of LIfBi Research Affiliate to outstanding cooperation partners for their services to research at the LIfBi. The award recognizes Trautwein's outstanding research and his collegial commitment, which has made a significant contribution to the joint scientific work and success of the LIfBi.
As part of the extension of his honorary status, Trautwein will also join the LIfBi mentoring program as a mentor. The program is intended to help young scientists with a doctorate (mentees) to identify and develop their own skills and to use them in a targeted manner for career planning and personal development. The experienced academics (mentors) provide support, for example by passing on subject-specific knowledge, acting as sparring partners, opening up networks and encouraging them to find individual solutions.
