IfS work retreat 2024

On 16 and 17 April, the IfS held a work retreat for all members of the institute (scientific staff, administrative staff, technical staff) at the Landesportschule Albstadt.

Following an introductory talk by Prof. Dr. Achim Conzelmann (University of Bern) on the topic of "problem-oriented sports science", the two-day event focused in particular on the situation and further development of study programs and teaching at the IfS. Working groups, which were formed in preparation for the work retreat, reported on the results of their work on topics such as sport aptitude test, optimization of existing profiles and development of a new study profile, AI in teaching and student assignments, and university sport as a field of teaching and learning in IfS courses. The content presented was constructively discussed and new ideas were developed. The program also included joint sporting activities and a visit of the castle in Sigmaringen.
