German Academic Exchange Service (Madagaskar)

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) was founded in 1925 and is the world's largest funding organization for the international exchange of students and academics. The DAAD's motto is "Change through Exchange". By promoting student exchanges, the DAAD aims to contribute to understanding between peoples and individuals, to addressing global challenges, and to political and social progress. The internship in the DAAD representation Madagaksar serves to get to know the DAAD higher education work in the context of international cooperation.

The college currently consists of ten lecturers (including two female professors) and the DAAD Lektor, occasionally supplemented by guest lecturers, tutors and interns from Germany and Austria. Lectures, seminars and workshops are offered in the areas of intercultural regional studies, applied linguistics, literary studies, didactics, scientific work and practical career preparation. These events are supplemented by special courses and seminars to improve students' language and study skills.
