Biography
After having completed a Bachelor’s programme in social work at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW Stuttgart), Lea continued to study political science and sociology (B.A.) and Democracy and Governance in Europe (M.A.) at the University of Tübingen.
Between 2019 and 2021, Lea conducted qualitative research for the project Migration and Social Protection (MiSP). Currently, as a doctoral candidate, she is working on the project Regulating Return Migration in the EU funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and Arts and the University of Tübingen.
Research Interest
Lea focuses on the interection of public policy and migration in the EU context and is especially interested in social policy and welfare, gender and sexuality and intersecting inequalities.
