PhyloSketch2 is an interactive program for drawing, capturing and laying out rooted phylogenetic trees and networks. Sketch a topology directly, refine it on screen, and let the program produce a clean layout - with a layout algorithm that minimizes the total displacement of reticulate edges. Or use the program to capture a tree or network from an image. It reports mathematical properties of the network, and reads and writes trees and networks in extended Newick format.
The PhyloSketch App for iOS is available for beta testing via Apple TestFlight. If you would like to participate in testing, then please contact Daniel Huson.
PhyloSketch is written in Java and uses JavaFX.
PhyloSketch is open source and the source is available on GitHub.
