Katharina Krause arbeitet seit Januar 2022 am IZEW und leitet aktuell gemeinsam mit Katharina Wezel das Projekt Co-Care. Ihre Forschung beschäftigt sich neben Care Ethik mit dem Zusammenspiel von Visualität und Sicherheit im Kontext von Gesundheitskrisen. Im Juli 2022 hat Katharina ihre Dissertation mit dem Titel „Imag(in)ing the health-security nexus – the connection of images, health, and security in the Ebola epidemic 2013-2016” erfolgreich verteidigt.
