Akademisches Profil

Seit Juli 2026 bin ich wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter und Lehrbeauftragter am Ludwig-Uhland-Institut für Empirische Kulturwissenschaft, wo ich für die Studienorganisation zuständig bin. Zuvor war ich wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Seminar für Volkskunde/Kulturgeschichte der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena und habe an Universitäten in Deutschland, Österreich, der Schweiz, Lettland und Schottland gelehrt. 2022 schloss ich meine Promotion am Institute for Languages and Intercultural Studies der Heriot-Watt University in Schottland ab; meine Dissertation befasste sich mit Bedeutungen Europas in der schottischen Unabhängigkeitsbewegung nach dem Brexit. Meine aktuellen Lehr- und Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen auf Europäisierung im Alltag und Klangethnografie.
