The Electronic Journals Library (EZB) is a directory of scholarly ejournals. The Electronic Journals Library lists all e-journals held by the University of Tübingen and provides access to these journals. Additionally, it lists free sources.

You can either search for journal titles or browse by subject areas.

Traffic-light icons indicate access to the journal:

• green = available to everyone
• yellow = limited to members of the University and the University Hospital of Tübingen. Access for members via VPN client or ZDV login
• yellow+red = access does not include all published volumes 
• red = no access for members of the University and University Hospital of Tübingen

Please note that as member of the University and University Hospital of Tübingen you can only access the volumes that the University subscribed to. This may vary from the volumes offered on a publisher’s website. 

You will find journals via the search in the Electronic Journals Library, but you will not find articles. When you click on a journal title in the hit list, you will see information on the available volumes in the detailed view of the journal.

When you retrieved a result, the record of the journal will also tell you, whether you can find a printed copy of the journal in the University Library or the library of a department of the University.

You will find detailed information about how to access a specific journal when you click on the red icon “i”. If you are connected to the University of Tübingen network, you will be able to access most e-resources without needing to enter a username or password. If a username or password is required, you will find the information using the red “i”.

If you are off campus, you can connect to the University's Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get access to the journals you find via the Electronic Journals Library. If you are not connected to the University network, you can check whether the publisher’s website allows you to log in via Single Sign-On (log in via institution using your ZDV login).

Non-Members can only access the full texts using a library computer. They cannot access these resources offsite.
