Tasks of the Equal Opportunities Officer

First, low-threshold contact person for complaints about discrimination and harassment,
Confidential initial consultation - also anonymous if desired,
Advice on possible courses of action,
Documentation of incidents,
Support during internal university discussions on request.

The legal basis is LHG §4 and §12 (4). Possible further steps are discussed together, nothing happens without your consent.

The Equal Opportunities Officer is not bound by instructions. Her duties do not include clarification of the facts, therapy, legal advice or decision-making authority. She is a member of the Equal Opportunities Commission of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, that also offers various funding and support programs.
