Dr. Wy Ming Lin

Wy Ming Lin is a doctoral candidate and research scientist at the Hector Research Institute for Education Science and Psychology. His research interests revolve around self-regulated learning, especially how emotions influence how students set goals for themselves and how it impacts performance on tasks. He currently employs computational modeling methods to investigate this and hopes to better understand the way students current states affect learning and motivation.
