Olympic Games 2024: Case Study Competition launched

29.04.2015 – An International Case Study Competition on Strategic Sport Management (seminar organization in Tuebingen: Professor Tim Pawlowski) started this semester in cooperation with the University of Mainz (Professor Holger Preuß), the TU Munich (Professor Jörg Königstorfer) and the German Sport University Cologne (Dr. Stefan Walzel). Following the Harvard Business School Case Method four teams of Master students at each participating university are working simultaneously as ‘consultants’ for (potential) host cities by applying various theories and methods addressing the bidding process for the Olympic Games in 2024. The winning team of each university will qualify for a final round of presentations to be held in fall 2015 at the German Olympic Academy in Frankfurt.
