On-site visit: arena management in Stuttgart

International students visited multifunctional sports arenas in Stuttgart

On 5th of November, sport management students from Germany, France, Japan, South Korea and the USA took a look behind the scenes of the main sports arenas and stadiums in Stuttgart. The visit was an integral part of the Sports Facility Management Seminar taught by Professor Tim Pawlowski. During the tours in the Schleyer-Halle, the PORSCHE Arena and the MERCEDES-BENZ Arena, the students could gain in depth knowledge about strategic and operative management practices and reflect these insights against the background of several theoretical concepts and models discussed in the seminar.
