Dual leadership for the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences

Taiga Brahm and Dominik Papies will take over the leadership of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences on September 1st. Frank Stähler will serve as the Acting Dean until then.

The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Tübingen will be under new leadership starting in the fall: Professor Dr. Taiga Brahm and Professor Dr. Dominik Papies were elected as the new dual leadership of the faculty at the faculty council meeting at the end of April. The two will take up their positions on September 1, 2024, with a term of five years. Until the new leadership team takes office, Prof. Dr. Frank Stähler will serve as the Acting Dean.

Professor Dr. Taiga Brahm is the Dean of Studies for the School of Business and Economics. Since October 2016, she has held a professorship in Economic Education and Business Didactics at the University of Tübingen. Professor Dr. Dominik Papies has been a Professor of Marketing at the University of Tübingen since 2012 and was also the Head of the School of Business and Economics from 2016 to 2019.
