Applications

The task of the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Humanities is to review planned research projects submitted by its scientists with regard to their ethical implications.

All scientists employed by the Faculty of Humanities and registered doctoral students are eligible to submit applications.

The main focus is on whether the informed and voluntary consent of the persons involved in the research work has been obtained, and whether the persons involved suffer any disadvantages or are exposed to any risks. If disadvantages or risks cannot be ruled out, the project must be specifically justified.

All proceedings are treated confidentially.

Please send applications to the Ethics Committee with the relevant documents (description of the research project, additional documents if applicable) by email to the Ethics Committee. Please also briefly explain why you need an expert opinion (e.g. third-party funding, condition for publication, research visa).
