can be submitted.
An extension beyond the regular funding period is usually not possible.
Applications for continued funding with the required documents must be submitted no later than Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

Dear doctoral candidates, dear applicants for the State Postgraduate Fellowship Programme,
Unfortunately, the state has informed the university of severe funding cuts at very short notice. These affect the budget for state postgraduate fellowship funding. Therefore, unfortunately, no new applications can be submitted for the April 2025 funding period.
We deeply regret that we could not communicate this news to you earlier and avoid great effort and disappointment on your part.
The Dean will provide information on alternative funding opportunities for doctoral candidates at the Doctoral Days in mid-February.
