Informations for new students

More information to specific lectures can be found on Alma.

There is a ten-day Mathematical introductory course for new students 2-3 weeks before the lectures start each term. We advise to register and attend the course "Mathematical introductory course for physics".

At the start of the lectures, we will have an orientation meeting for new students in Physics

• All the courses are listed in the Alma-System of the University.
• The brochure "International Studieren -- Orientierungswochen ...Semester 20..." is published each term. It contains information about centrally organised events for new international students as well as the orientation meetings and events organised by the faculty. How to find the Physics department at the University?

• The department is located in buildings C and D on the Morgenstelle.
• Parts of the department for Astronomy and Astrophysics is located on the Sand.
