Student Assistant (f/m/d, up to 40 hours/month)

The Graduate Training Centre of Neuroscience is looking for two student assistants to tutor the “Essential Statistics” lecture.

One position will be filled with up to 40 hours/month until 01.10.2024 or later and limited until 31.03.2025. Remuneration is based on the currently valid rates for academic and student assistants.

The lecture “Essential Statistics” of the Graduate Training Centre of Neuroscience by PD Dr. Marc Himmelbach is offered to students of the Master's degree programs “Neural and Behavioural Sciences” and “Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience” and doctoral students of neuroscience without prior knowledge of statistics.

You work on and correct the students' regular exercises. In consultation with Mr. Himmelbach, weekly tutorials will offer exercises on the content of the respective lecture session as a follow-up to the lecture.

You have a sound, advanced knowledge of statistics, which you can demonstrate through appropriate academic achievements and communicate confidently in English.
