In order to provide students with state-of-the-art neuroscience training and, at the same time, ensure a steady supply of well-trained students for local laboratories, the CIN has strengthened and extended the training of graduate students by setting up the Graduate Training Centre of Neuroscience (GTC).
The GTC serves as an umbrella body for three neuroscience graduate schools, each of them comprising a consecutive masters & doctoral degree program with complementary scientific foci. Together they offer a markedly broad spectrum of research and training opportunities in neuroscience, extending from genes to cognition all the way to computational approaches and state-of-the-art methods employed in neurosciences. Today, Tübingen is a prime location for graduate students and post-docs interested in any one of the many aspects of neuroscience.
