The CIN offers some more information about animal research and its use in biomedical research in general, as well as neuroscience specifically, in a brochure available both in an English and a German version.
Furthermore, a more comprehensive brochure (in German only) on the need for animal experiments in biomedical research has been put together by the University of Tübingen in close cooperation with multiple partner institutes.
Naturally, the CIN is bound by the University of Tübingen's 'Principles of Animal Welfare and Animal Research'. These principles are available as a flyer download.
