First Max Planck ETH Workshop on Practical and Theoretical Aspects of Deep Learning

David Janssen and Robert Geirhos participated in this first Max Planck ETH Zürich workshop on "Deep Learning: Theory and Practice" (July 11-13, Donaueschingen).

The workshop was really interesting and very well organized. Speakers included Andrea Vedaldi (Oxford University - Understanding visual representations), Koray Kavukcuoglu (Google DeepMind - Deep Learning for Agents) and Matthias Bethge (University of Tübingen - What can neuroscience teach us about deep learning?).
