Excursion for International Students

Dear Students,

We are excited to invite you to take part in a unique excursion with UT Career Services this October:
On 22 October 2025, we will visit the 14th Resource Efficiency & Circular Economy Congress in Stuttgart, organised by Umwelttechnik BW.

· Inspiring talks from top experts

· A company exhibition and job fair featuring potential employers

Key facts:

· Application deadline: 14 September 2025

· Register by filling out this form

· Number of spots: 8 – allocated on a first-come, first-served basis - you will be informed on September 15, 2025 whether you are admitted to the excursion right away, or if you are wait-listed.

· Language requirement: German level B2 or higher.
If your German is below B2, you may take part in an individual language assessment with Inga van Gessel, after which we will jointly decide on suitability. -> Please sign up either way. Ms van Gessel will reach out to you after the deadline has passed.

· Costs: Covered by the UT Career Service (travel + congress ticket) – no cost for participants

· Mandatory prep session (~2 hours, about two weeks before): CV, self-presentation, outfit, conference strategy, networking, and logistics

· Travel: Departure from Tübingen Hbf at 8 am, return from Stuttgart around 6 pm

· On-site support: Guided by Inga van Gessel & Annika Requardt

Congress day schedule:

· Kick-off and team assignments in pairs

· Independent exploration of talks and company exhibition

· Mid-day feedback round & peer-to-peer mentoring

· Continued networking in pairs
