Platforms

To support interdisciplinary interactions between the various research areas of the University of Tübingen four research platforms were set up.

The platforms Personalised Medicine, Medical Technology and Environmental Systems support links between basic and applied research within Natural and Life Sciences.

The broad fourth platform Global Encounters offers support for networking within applied research in the Humanities and Social Sciences. This consolidation of university and extra-university research offers the possibility to further intensify the exchange of information between the two.
