Since applications for funding from TEA funds must be decided upon in the meetings of the Equal Opportunities Commission, they should be submitted before the first meeting at the beginning of the semester or the second meeting at the end of the lecture period. Applications must also be submitted at least four weeks before the planned event date. However, exceptions to these rules are possible in urgent cases.
Applications must be submitted both electronically and in paper form. Unfortunately, applications that are not submitted electronically cannot be processed. The original application documents must additionally be sent afterward to the Equal Opportunities Officer of the Faculty, Dr. Karin Bürkart, Ludwig Uhland Institute of Historical and Cultural Anthropology, Eberhard Karls University Tübingen, Burgsteige 11, 72070 Tübingen.
The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences has annual funds available for a total of 3 teaching assignments and 4 practical lectures through the TEA program.
For each teaching assignment, the faculty is allocated €1,180 as remuneration and €580 for travel expenses. For each practical lecture/gender studies specialist lecture (1.5-hour duration), €210 is allocated as a fee and €100 for travel expenses. Any additional costs must be covered by the faculty/department. Each institute may receive funding for a maximum of 1 teaching assignment and potentially several practical lectures per year.
Each year, the "small faculties" (Protestant Theology, Catholic Theology, Law Faculty, and the Center for Islamic Theology) receive funding for one teaching assignment and one TEA lecture each. The "large faculties" (Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Sciences) receive funding for three teaching assignments and four TEA lectures each.
For each teaching assignment, faculties receive an allocation of €1,600 plus €580 for travel expenses. For each TEA lecture, faculties receive €389, of which €289 is designated as the lecture fee in accordance with the regulations for the Studium Generale, and €100 for travel and accommodation costs.
