Structural Models in the Introductory Studies Phase
The project is set up for 2 years (starting in January 2017) and is being carried out by Mr. Bleher (Department of Econometrics, Statistics and Empirical Economics). The aim is to further develop preparatory math courses (internet, blended learning) as well as establish a methods café in cooperation with the University Library.
Low-threshold offers are to be provided that
Compensate for deficits remaining from school,
Orient students to prepare for the content that will be covered in their studies, and
Give an idea of the breadth and diversity of empirical methods.
The idea is not to replace what is taught in the curricula.
