Dr. Donghee Kim is a Research Professor at the Research Institute of Korean Studies, Korea University. She is currently a Visiting Professor in Korean Studies at the University of Tübingen and a Visiting Researcher at the Center for Korean Studies, Ritsumeikan University in Japan. Dr. Kim received her Ph.D. in Korean Literature from Korea University, and her main research areas include Modern and Contemporary Korean Poetry, Colonial Bilingual Literature, and Translation. She also works as a translator and has published several books. Dr. Kim is the editorial director of The Society of Yi-Sang and serves on the editorial board of The Korean Poetics Society.
