International and ERASMUS

Outgoing: Erasmus+

What do I need to do and when?

If you are interested in an Erasmus Semester in the 25/26 course (both winter and summer semesters), contact me at least before the 30th April 2025. This is due to the allocation of Mobility stipendia, which have to be done well in advance. Some exceptions:

  • You want to go on the Summer semester and only tought about it after the 30th April. Here I might still have some slots free for you, so contact me!
  • You want to go to Stockholm, Glasgow, or Oulu. These destinations have exceptionally early deadlines, so try to contact me before March the 1st.

After this, I will nominate you to the University of your choice (see below). The nomination occurs during the semester before the mobility. For example, if you are planning to go during the winter semester 24/25, I would have to nominate you during the summer semester 24 (exact deadlines vary from one University to another).

Next, you will have to apply to the University, and again here the process varies from one University to another. But do not worry, you will have enough information.

After this step, you will have to apply for a mobility grant, but for this you will be in contact with our central international office here in Tübingen, who will tell you what to do.

Finally, you will have to fill a "Learning Agreement" with the modules that you want to course during your stay. At this stage we can discuss together which modules will be recognized back home and how.

Where can I go?

Our Physics department has Erasmus agreements with all the following Universities:

Moreover, now you can also go to the Universities members of the CIVIS network!

You can find further information on Erasmus and the application process at the Erasmus teams webpage of the International Office.
