Project description

The team of Prof. Alfred Nordheim (Molecular Biology, Interfaculty Institute of Cell Biology) has engaged with TÜCADD in the pursuit of two cancer drug development projects:

  1. “Identification of pharmacological effectors of the SRF-TCF/MRTF transcriptional control module“, and
  2. “Targeting mitochondrial metabolism in liver cancer”.

Status:

For both projects candidate molecular targets have been identified, functional assays of these targets have been established, and platforms for effector molecule screens are being developed.
