TEAP 2024 in Regensburg

Rabia Dilawar joined the conference

In March 2024, I was privileged to attend the TEAP conference, a dynamic gathering that fosters exchange and innovation in psychological research. My journey through the conference was a blend of learning and active participation. On the first day, I delved into the complexities of Multitasking and Cognitive Control through a series of insightful talks, complemented by engaging poster sessions. The exploration continued into the second day with profound discussions on Self-Processing in the Social Mind and Decision Making, which were enlightening and thought-provoking. Beyond attending, I actively contributed to the academic dialogue by presenting my first poster, "Feeding the Mind: How Satiety Modulates Modal and Amodal Cognitive Control." This experience was a significant milestone in my academic journey and provided me with invaluable feedback and the opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field. Attending poster sessions each day throughout the conference allowed me to witness our community's diverse and innovative research efforts. The third day offered a deep dive into Feature Binding in Action Control and beyond, further expanding my understanding of cognitive processes. Overall, the TEAP 2024 conference was an enriching experience that broadened my knowledge, honed my research focus, and fuelled my passion for psychology, inspiring me to apply these insights to my future work.
