Unlike other courses, your grades are only one of several criteria that are considered in the decision-making process. It is therefore not possible to provide a NC limit. Other criteria are e.g. the grade for German, language skills, any prior professional training, internships and samples of work.

(1) The sequence is based on the average grade of the HZB. Alternatively, the overall grade of the qualifying examination will apply for individuals with professional qualifications but no school qualification for higher education as per § 59 LHG or, if no qualifying examination is required by law, the overall grade of the examination for the master craftsman’s diploma or equivalent advanced certificate or academic exam as per § 14 of the Education Act.
(2) For vocational training, vocational experience, special preparatory training or extracurricular achievements and qualifications that confirm suitability for a course of studies, the grade is improved by up to 0.4. The following criteria are rated particularly highly:

b) Internship with qualified evidence required for the Media Studies course of a continuous duration of at least 3 months. Only one internship will be credited. 0.4
