Using the Library

For technical reasons, our holdings are listed in the catalog as "local use only" or "on-site use". However, most items can be checked out. Materials kept in the stacks, journals, and books with pink shelf labels are not available for loan.

Books on course reserves may be checked out only over the weekend.

There are no fees for borrowing. However, if items are returned late on a regular basis, borrowing privileges may be suspended.

Only students and staff of the University of Tübingen are eligible to borrow materials from the library.
