The virus models of Professor Dr. Evamarie Sander (1928-2023) come from the preserved estate of the Professor of Phytopathology and Phytovirology. In her autobiographical texts, which are included in the estate, she reports that teaching and working with students was always very important to her and that she always brought the virus models - which she had made herself and prepared for presentation on a small wooden tray - into the lecture hall to better illustrate her lectures. She repeatedly emphasized that mutual respect was very important to her.  From 1971, she regularly offered a large-scale internship that required daily attendance in the laboratory for an entire semester. After completing it, she regularly organized a small garden party in the summer semester, to which she invited all participants of the internship to her home to celebrate its end.
