Non-European exchange opportunities: application deadlines 2026
Important Deadlines for Applications for Latin America, Africa, and North America (U.S. & Canada)
Students planning a non-European exchange during their studies should take note of the upcoming application deadlines published by the International Office. The following deadlines are particularly relevant until autumn 2026:
- Latin America: 1 July 2026
- Africa: 10 July 2026
- North America / USA & Canada: 1 August 2026
Depending on the region, the exchange periods refer to summer semester 2027, winter semester 2027/28 and/or summer semester 2028. Please check the requirements, application documents and partner universities well in advance.
